News: The Good Sister

The contract has been signed with Evernight Publishing for the publication of The Good Sister.  This is part one of a two book contemporary erotic series.  The tentative release date, September, 2012.

I'm always being asked about inspiration, and how do I gain inspiration for a book.  Well, a quote inspired the idea for The Good Sister, so I thought I would share it:

"We always long for the forbidden things, and desire what is denied us."

~Francois Rabelashes~

Music is my other inspiration, so here is the listening list for The Good Sister (Part One)

One Direction – What Makes You Beautiful
The Veronicas - Untouched
Blue October – Ugly Side
Bonnie Raitt – I Can’t Make You Love Me
Rascal Flatts – I’m Movin’ On
Adele - Promise This
Taylor Swift – White Horse
David Cook - Time of My Life
Train – Marry me

Here's a sneak peek blurb:
Trinity Lane Winslow feared everything, and lived her life vicariously through others. She dreamed of the impossible. To be the kind of woman who turned men’s heads, and become the woman Reid Addison noticed. What scared her the most? Reid would leave to live a life of his own, and she would forever be a ghost where he was concerned, living her life on the peripherals, and never see him again.
Reid Addison feared nothing, except perhaps how the mousey little blonde daughter of his housekeeper made him feel.  Even though Trinity Winslow wasn’t his type, there was something about her.
Lord Ashton Archer had nothing to fear. He lived a fairy tale life, with property all over the world, heir to a ducal dynasty, women fawning all over him, and anything a man could want, and all obtained by the snap of his fingers. He only lacked one thing. A woman who truly made him burn.
By a twist of fate the three of them find their way into the same illicit world of the infamous Madam Jacqueline Claudette Rousseau. But will they find what each of them truly desire? Or will they always long for the forbidden?

A huge and heartfelt thanks to all those fans, friends, and family who have supported me and my writing.
I couldn't do it without you!

Blurb for Vixen and the Pea:

All that stands between playboy Prince Koldo and the throne is his wife…or the lack thereof. Koldo has no desire to wed anyone, let alone the know-it-all shrew his parents favor.Lady Otsana is fed up with the oppressive sexism that requires she hide her face, body and brains. She much prefers the sexual adventures she enjoys out of her birka-like clothing when she becomes Fleur.
Prince Koldo also has an alter ego, Bero, only Fleur is not fooled by his disguise. Just as Fleur and Bero’s attempts to best each other in the bedroom blossom into romance, Koldo reaches the end of his tether. His bride will be chosen by contest at the upcoming King’s Ball.
Otsana must make a difficult decision. Will she enter the Prince’s contest and risk all for a chance at love or will she play it safe but give up Bero forever?

The first rays of the sun seeped through the openings in the window curtains. Koldo took himself in hand and tried to stroke new life into his fallen soldier. Not a single spark could he coax from the once lively fellow. He pumped faster, but the pressure only elicited a wince. Had the wench bruised his manhood? Was such an injury even possible? With a sigh, he turned his head, prepared to concede defeat to the succubus he had bedded, a demon in the guise of a woman who had nearly sucked the life out of him.
Its eyelids were shut, lashes fanning across high, sculpted cheekbones. The demon’s dark tresses lay askew across the pillow, with a long lock trailing down over one breast. She really was a lovely creature.
He leaned closer to lay a soft kiss upon her lips and to see if she had been spying on his resurrection attempts. Lips had almost met lips when hers parted and a loud snort, like that of a pig, burst out. He recoiled snickering.
Otsana’s snores grew louder, but soon their steady cadence lulled Koldo into a drowsy state, and his eyes drooped shut one last time before sealing.
Otsana wasn’t sure if the rooster’s crowing woke her or the shaking of the bed, but both had her sitting bolt upright. Koldo no longer lay next to her but sat on the edge, pulling on his boots.
“Merde! How long have I been asleep?” she asked rubbing her eyes. No point in pretending. She’d lost their bet. The arrogant Prince of Basqueland had bested her. No man had ever outlasted her in bed before. How had this bastard done it?
Koldo turned and smiled. “Since the first light of dawn at least. I was all set to pounce upon you once again when the most unholy noise came forth from your mouth. My lady, you snore … loudly.”
“I do not!” Otsana gathered the sheets to her breasts and scanned the room for her clothes.
“You most certainly do.” He leaned over to fetch something from the ground that he tossed to her. Her shift. Another lean produced a single black stocking.
She remembered its mate had been pressed into service and indeed was still tied to the bedpost. A wicked smile passed across her lips as she untied it. Perhaps another night with this rogue wasn’t the worst means of settling a wager. “I will concede that I have lost our bet … but not that I snore.”
A deep booming laugh caught her off guard. She’d expected him to crow about winning, yet he’d not spoken a word about it thus far.
“As you wish. Seeing as my carnal needs were thwarted by your … softly slumbering self, ‘twas not snoring I heard but my own disappointed hopes.
Otsana gave him a sidelong glance. “Another night we said?”
“Aye, my lady, on the date of my choosing.”
She gathered her stocking and prepared to slip it over her foot, when he stilled her hand and took the stocking. He turned toward her and slowly unrolled the woolen knitwear over her foot and up her leg, his fingers lightly skimming her skin during their trek. A sigh escaped her lips. Why did his touch affect her this way?
His mission complete, he lifted his eyes to meet hers. “Three nights hence, meet me here at sunset. I’ll leave a note for you with the innkeeper telling you which room.”
She nodded, unable to tear her gaze away. When he ran hasty fingers through his disheveled hair, the moment was broken, and they both turned their attention elsewhere. He appeared as puzzled as she felt.
“Very well. Three nights.” She drew on her other stocking, pretending to be engrossed in her task while she sifted through a muddle of emotions.
The bed jiggled when Koldo stood to slip on his coat, the only remaining garment he had not donned. He strode to the door, which he opened halfway then paused and glanced back at her.
Her brows lifted in question, and she waited for him to say something, but no words came. The man himself moved, heavy-footed, back to the bed where she sat and without a word, snatched her into his arms. The kiss he planted was commanding and thorough. Otsana’s bones began to liquefy, but before she could embarrass herself by begging him to stay a while longer, he wrenched his mouth away.
“Three nights,” he said, and with a curt nod of his head, left.

Aaron is a soldier preparing to deploy for the first time. During the process, he meets Oliver. There is an instant connection. The entire time that Aaron is overseas, the two continue to think of each other and wonder what could have been. Upon Aaron’s return, fate brings the two together again. Lust ignites a beautiful love.  However, in the Army change is bound to happen and relationships are put to the test. Hero follows the story of a brave couple facing the challenges of a military relationship.

Teaser Excerpt:
“Do I get a chance for a second date?” Aaron asked.
Oliver gripped the handle of the driver’s side door of his silver Prius. “Yeah, I’d like that.”
Oliver became suddenly aware of how close Aaron was to him. The tall soldier put his hand on Oliver’s hip. “I’m glad,” he said. His voice, eyes, his whole demeanor was seductive.
Oliver didn’t feel like he could breathe. He could feel the heat coming from the man. He wanted Aaron to kiss him. “You…you could kiss me,” he whispered, surprising himself.
Aaron smiled and gently caressed Oliver’s cheek. Oliver felt himself getting lightheaded as those full lips approached his. When they kissed, Oliver’s knees went weak. His lips parted and Aaron’s tongue gently probed into his mouth. Being in Aaron’s arms was everything Oliver had imagined it would be. He was sure that if Aaron asked, he would do anything the soldier wanted right there in the parking lot.
Aaron pulled away from the kiss and Oliver followed, stumbling forward into Aaron’s arms. Oliver could feel himself blushing. He finally regained the ability to stand on his own and stumbled back against his car door.
“You’re damn cute,” Aaron said. He kissed Oliver’s forehead. “Can I get your number?”
Oliver rattled off the digits, still feeling a bit lightheaded
Aaron smiled. “You have a good night, sweetheart.”
Aaron kept the mental image of Oliver after their first kiss in his mind as he settled down to sleep. For the first time since returning home, he slept with no nightmares.
He felt invigorated the next morning and got in an excellent work out. He was feeling so good that he called his mother. He knew she’d been worrying about him after the week he’d spent visiting on leave. He hoped that she felt better after their conversation. Aaron didn’t want his mother to worry. He didn’t mention Oliver to her yet, feeling it was too soon for that. When he hung up the phone, he was confident that his mom would be reassured.
Aaron took advantage of his good mood and started to run errands. He got his hair cut and went grocery shopping for the first time since getting back. He watched the clock. He didn’t want to call Oliver while the young man was at work and he also didn’t want to appear desperate. He decided that sometime in the evening would be best. It was hard not to stare at his watch as the minutes ticked by. Aaron was anxious to set up another date. His mind was glued on the little moments from the night before, like how his skin tingled when their fingers brushed over the chips and salsa and how Oliver had blushed at that every time, even when it became clear Aaron was doing it on purpose. There was something in Oliver’s eyes and the way he smiled that made Aaron feel like a human being again, instead of just some pawn in a war that was bigger than him.
Oliver spent the entire day wondering if Aaron would actually call. After getting off work, he turned the ringer on his cell phone all the way up, just so he wouldn’t miss the call. Around six, he got a little nervous. He felt a bit foolish, waiting for the call like he was. Aaron hadn’t specified that he would be calling today. Oliver knew he shouldn’t get all worked up.
He couldn’t figure out what it was Aaron saw in him. The man was undeniably gorgeous and yet had ignored the advances of the man at the next table to the point that Oliver wondered if Aaron had noticed it at all. Aaron had a way of making Oliver feel comfortable, which was no easy task. Then, there was that wonderful kiss that had absolutely swept Oliver away. He had to admit, he’d had his head in the clouds ever since, but it was time to come down. Oliver didn’t think the call would be coming.
Just when he was about to give up, his phone rang.

Beyond Honor Blurb
Army Medic, Private Michael Crest, is quite content in his life with the exception of one thing—he’s in need of a good man and has his sights set on another medic, Specialist Jared Prophet.
The problem? Jared’s in deep denial about his sexuality.
After an unexpected, erotic exchange, Jared decides his only recourse is to distance himself from Michael and plans a trip to his family’s lake-house with friends, which would have worked, if one of his friends hadn’t invited Michael to tag along.
As a tropical storm hits the Texas Gulf Coast, the two men give into unbridled passion. But more than the weather gets rough when the storm passes and Jared learns his parents are among the missing.
Can the lovers endure the fallout or will unearthed truths prove more devastating than any natural disaster?
After all, just because they aren’t gonna ask, doesn’t mean they want you to tell…

ADULT Excerpt:

“Okay, well you two get settled, and then we’ll start this party.” Jared grabbed his duffel bag and returned to his parents’ bedroom.
As he entered, he noticed the bathroom door ajar and saw Michael standing on the other side, pulling his shirt up over his head. White tape wrapped around his upper torso on one side, and Michael winced as he unfastened his jeans.
His ribs were definitely bruised.
Jared swallowed hard, standing there, watching, unable to look away. No matter how badly he wanted to leave, his feet wouldn’t budge.
Michael lowered his jeans and then his boxers, causing Jared’s cock to throb. Michael was gorgeous, with tanned skin, a tapered waist and an ass that curved perfectly, firm and supple.
Jared couldn’t help it. He rubbed his dick through his tightening jeans. He’d never seen anything so appealing.
When Michael turned around, his rather large cock dangled between his legs, and Jared instantly wondered what it would feel like hard and in his hand. His pubic area was well groomed and trimmed very neatly, and his thighs were muscular and strong.
Michael looked up, and the two men made eye contact.
Jared squirmed and quickly removed his hand from his crotch. His face burned as hot as a bonfire. Shit! He turned to go, but as he made it to the door, Michael rushed from the bathroom then reached out and grabbed his arm.
“You don’t have to go.”
Jared jerked back and licked his lips. He struggled not to look down. If he did, he wasn’t sure what would happen, but he was sure it wouldn’t be good. “Mike, I-I should leave.”
The desperation in Michael’s tone tugged at his heart.
Jared backed against the door and stared into Michael’s eyes. “Please don’t.”
“Don’t what?” Michael pressed his lips together and inched closer. “Don’t make you admit that you’re attracted to me?”
Jared shook his head as Michael leaned into him.
“Don’t tell you that you’re all I think about?”
Hot breath spilled over Jared’s neck as Michael quickly invaded his personal space.  A warm hand gently took his, and in seconds, Jared held Michael’s cock in his hand.
Michael caressed the back of Jared’s fingers, prompting him to stroke his shaft. “See, it’s only flesh and blood, just like yours.”
Jared held his breath and squeezed his eyes shut as the softness of Michael’s dick began to take on a different shape by hardening in his hand. He felt powerful. Strong. To know the effect his touch had on Michael excited him in a way he’d never been thrilled before.
All on his own, Jared continued to stroke it.
Michael leaned in and began to kiss Jared’s neck. Soft moans vibrated against the tender skin on his throat, encouraging Jared to stroke faster.
Clicking sounds echoed throughout the room as his hand became slippery by the juices spilling from Michael’s cock. Jared didn’t have to look down to know instinctively what was occurring. He’d jacked off thousands of times. He’d know that sound anywhere.
Michael flattened his hand on the door beside Jared’s head, keeping his body far enough away so as not to interrupt the event. He ran his tongue up Jared’s jaw-line and toward his lips, then plunged it deep inside Jared’s mouth.
His taste was as sweet as it had been that morning, maybe even more so. “Fuck.”
Michael kissed him again and then pulled back, panting hard in Jared’s ear. “I’m gonna come.”
Jared’s heart pounded. He’d never pleasured a man to the point of explosion, and the feeling of complete and utter supremacy flooded over his whole body. He opened his eyes and looked down as Michael’s swollen cock pulsed in his hand. The tip dripped with satiny, clear pre-cum. Excited, Jared’s fist slid up and down even faster.
Michael sucked air through his teeth. “Fuck yes.”
Jared licked his lips, savoring the way Michael reacted to his touch.
Michael moaned, and then all of a sudden, he came.
One sweet burst after another of hot milky fluid spurted onto Jared’s fingers. In that instant, Jared felt like a god.
Michael kissed him again, and for the first time ever, Jared held him in his arms and returned the kiss fervently.
