Now I turn the spotlight on my smart and sexy book...

Like countless single mothers, Lexi Collins wears many hats. Loving daughter. Big sister. Sole breadwinner. Freelance photographer. Graphic designer. Best friend. But while those roles are fulfilling, the one thing that eludes her is finding the right partner in life.

When Colton Westmore, the sexy owner of the popular dating site, sweeps Lexi off her feet, her chances of finally grabbing that golden ring increases exponentially, but a bleached blonde bombshell threatens to put an end to Lexi’s new found happiness.

Are her assumptions about Colton wrong? And if so, there’s only one woman who can ruin the magic between them, and that woman is Lexi herself.

I hunkered down, and placed the lens and camera into my oversized black camera bag, then riffled through a side compartment until I found what I’d been waiting hours for—a more than half-eaten chocolate bar. It didn’t take but a second to peel back the silver wrapper and take a bite. Sweet milk chocolate melted on my tongue. Too hungry from skipping lunch, I downed the scrumptious remnant, licked my lips, and then stared at the empty wrapper longingly before balling in into a tiny foil sphere and dropping it back into the side pocket.
“You okay? You need some help?”
“I’m fine,” I said, then noticed the man’s expensive, Italian crafted loafers. I glanced up the length of his body. Charcoal-grey slacks. Black leather belt. White dress shirt. Grey tie. Masculine chin… I sucked in my breath when I focused on the chiseled features of his face.
“Hi,” he said in a voice that would drip from the tip of a spoon like melting caramel.

  1. She wanted to answer but no word came. She was lost in his eyes. Lexi was drowning in them. After what seemed ages she noticed he was smiling with his kissable lips. And started to feel how her face begins to blush when she released she was quite for a while. She opens her mouth to say...Lexi dont know what but she know she needs to speak up.
"Are you reall?" Oh, sh*t! She didnt just said that?!

  2. She looked into his eyes and he was smiling down at her. He brought his hand up to her face. Thinking he was going to grab her and pull her in for her kiss, but what he did next surprised and embarrassed her at the same time. He slightly brushed a few fingers over her lips and said you have some chocolate on your lips and then licks it off his fingers. Thanks for sharing.

  3. Hi yourself she say nervously, please tell me you just walked up. No he responds, I've been here wondering if I could be of assistance with the chocolate maybe I could have had a taste. She looks down at the remnants on her fingers and move them towards his mouth. He licks them slowly while gazing in her eyes before pulling her closer and taking her mouth. Delicious just like I thought he says. lavidabrisco(at)yahoo(dot)com

  4. She says "hi". He asks if she needs anything or would like to grab a bite to eat.

  5. After they exchange some interested looks/banter, he offers to take her out for a better meal.

  6. He look at small chocolate that is on her lips and slowly leans in licks so softly. The spark that was there from looking at him turn into a wild fire and she opens for him.

  7. She crouches, stunned. He looks at her concerned, "Ma'am, are you ok?". Shaking out of her stupor, she nods and blushes.

  8. Congrats on all of your success! The chemistry is hot and instant, the stare at each other for a minute, looking there fill, daydreaming about the other. Sexy banter is exchanged. He asks her out, she says yes and goes with him. Food is eaten..but off of each other. :D Thank you for the fantastic hop!

  9. He needs to offer her some more chocolate.....he'll have her love forever!

    Thanks for the amazing giveaway!

It's Summer Time Giveaway

Many of you are aware of my mother's passing in October of 2016 and some of the other things that have been keeping my writing progress slowed, but I am working hard on catching up with those writing projects that came to a screeching halt at the end of last year.

Book three in my Bad Boy Fever series is well underway. I will be pushing to have Bound by the Bad Boy completed and released this year. Book two in my Lost Boys series, Kiss of Fire and Frost is also well underway and another of my books I will be pushing to complete.

Because I really do appreciate my readers and fans, and I'm thankful for your patience with me, I am doing an It's Summer Time Giveaway. What's on the summer giveaway list?

On A Dark Tide by Naomi Clark

Thanks for having me here today! I'm excited to share my latest Romance on the Go, ON A DARK TIDE, a story I constantly (and probably annoyingly) referred to as the Creepy Ocean Story whilst writing it. I'm a mermaid at heart. I love the ocean, whatever the season, whatever the weather. Nothing makes me feel as at peace or inspired as sitting by the shore. ON A DARK TIDE is one of several stories and books I've written with the ocean at its heart, and it won't be the last.

My jokey reference to it as the Creepy Ocean Story got me thinking about other creepy ocean stories. ON A DARK TIDE was partially inspired by that idea that the deep, vast ocean is concealing a very alien and inhospitable world from us - and that maybe we don't want to uncover it's secrets.

These three books share that theme, and were all incredibly formative reads for me growing up. Enjoy!
