New Year Greetings and News

A New Day. A New Year!

Thank you all so much for being a part of my life in 2016 and for sticking with me in 2017. I hope you have a happy and healthy New Year, and find peace, love and prosperity in the days to come.

In other not so nice news, I'm sure many of you know about All Romance eBooks, LLC.

If not, here's what's been going on. Basically, ARe sent out a mass email to publishers and self published authors stating they were closing down and were unable to remit fourth quarter 2016 commissions in full and proposed a settlement of 10 cents on the dollar for payment and asked us to accept this ridiculous settlement. Authors who were published by All Romance as a publisher were to receive their rights back and won't receive any monetary compensation. Mind you, this email was sent out on December 28th with a shut down date of December 31st, giving authors 3 days notice of the closure. This came as a HUGE shock to us, especially since only a few days before we received emails from them about purchasing 2017 advertising and their Boxing Day sale.

Shady, shady dealings! But I digress.

ARe also sent out an email to readers on the same day stating they would no longer have access or be able to make purchases and to finalize any transactions, download their purchases, and back up their library. Many readers were unable to download the books they purchased during this very short time frame, were unable to use their ebook bucks, get their pre-ordered books, etc... and their library was lost.

If you are a reader who purchased any of my titles on the ARe site and lost access to the books in your library, were not able to download your purchases, etc... please email me at London@londonsaintjames.com with a receipt or confirmation of the sale(s) and I will make sure to get a copy of the ebook(s) purchased sent to you.

All the best,

London

It's Summer Time Giveaway

Many of you are aware of my mother's passing in October of 2016 and some of the other things that have been keeping my writing progress slowed, but I am working hard on catching up with those writing projects that came to a screeching halt at the end of last year.

Book three in my Bad Boy Fever series is well underway. I will be pushing to have Bound by the Bad Boy completed and released this year. Book two in my Lost Boys series, Kiss of Fire and Frost is also well underway and another of my books I will be pushing to complete.

Because I really do appreciate my readers and fans, and I'm thankful for your patience with me, I am doing an It's Summer Time Giveaway. What's on the summer giveaway list?

*Waves* I know I've been gone from Mid Week Tease a long, long time. But I'm back!!!

Excerpt:

With the phone to his ear, Cayden turned and looked at me, his sapphire gaze roaming from the hair piled in a messy bun atop my head, to my bubble-gum-pink-painted toenails before he smiled. My heart thrummed. Reaching out, he pulled me onto his lap where I willingly went, and picked up a pen from beside my laptop. Then, he crooked his head, holding the handset to the cordless in place against his shoulder to free his other hand and took a hold of mine. Curious, I wondered what he was up to. Cayden turned my hand over, palm side up. Swiped his fingers softly over my palm once. Wrote, I Love U,boldly across it. And then he curled my fingers closed, securing the words tight within the palm of my hand before he moved his hands from mine and took hol…
